Jim & Alex
The first time I met Jim and Alex was the night before their elopement when they picked me up from the train station at Kyle of Localsh. By the time we got back to their rented house it was like we were old friends. They had come all the way from New Zealand to get married in this wild and remote part of the world. The boys wore matching tailored suits from Working Style. The ceremony was held on the cliff top of Neist Point Celebrant Viv had travelled from Glasgow and looked lovely in her kilt and hiking boots. She bought a friend to be a witness and I was the other witness which as Jim said seemed ridiculous but fun as we’d just met. After the ceremony the three of us explored the breath-taking landscape, meeting Highland Cows, running down hills to the rocky coast line and sitting amongst purple Scottish heather. We finished the day watching the sunset while eating fish and chips in pastel Portree. Such a simple, perfect day. You can read all about it in Fashion Quarterly!
