It’s so worth traveling over the hill to do Wairarapa wedding photography. It’s such a beautiful region and Becca and Al’s wedding was just stunning. It may have been unseasonably cold for February in Featherston but the warmth of Becca, Al, their families and friends made up for it. Becca’s impeccable wedding styling and colour palette ensured every detail looked spectacular. Becca designed her own wedding dress. The dress and the girl’s silk dressing gowns were made by Mavis and Osborn. The gorgeous flowers were by The Piccadilly Flower Company.
After dinner the sun came out just before it set. I had to drag Becca and Al out into the honey golden light, it was so beautiful. Shooting with my film cameras was especially rewarding with the rich evening colours. To top it all off I took probably the best double exposure on medium format film (of Becca and her bouquet) I have ever taken! One of those times when you get your film back and you get your breath taken away.
