I am an adventurous photographer who loves to document organic, genuine and joyful wedding photography. Alongside my wedding work I shoot fashion and documentary portraiture (which you can check out here) which informs the editorial way I shoot weddings. I want to create art for you!
I have been shooting film alongside digital at weddings for 10 years. As I use film for all my personal work it’s as natural as breathing. Shooting on a range of different camera formats creates a beautiful kaleidoscope of imagery which you will see when you look through my galleries. Absolutely nothing beats the colours, texture and richness of film for me, and the unexpected happy surprises when getting the film back!
My style is unobtrusive with some gentle direction. Working with natural light and movement for their dreamlike qualities, I just want to capture you in your happy loved up state! Huge grins, happy tears, spontaneous dancing, the way the light hits those flowers, champagne sparkling in the sun, bear hugs, a knowing look, deep golden summer evenings and dusky candlelit kisses.
If you are after a wedding film as well, I work with my partner, film maker Ryan Fielding. His style is wonderfully rhythmic and intuitive. His films have a timeless quality. We work seamlessly together ensuring we get the best frames and angles of every part of your day.
I am based in New Zealand and traveling to Europe every summer.
